Sometimes, all you need is three. The number 3 has a long cultural history of being a power number.
Good things come in 3’s, that’s what they say.
I’m all for good word quotes or affirmations, but at the start of the day, you want to make your affirmations short and to the concise. You have a life to be getting on with.
Three word affirmations are short, snappy, and to the point.
My current words of affirmation are I AM WORTHY, I AM GRATEFUL, I AM READY. I say these straight after my morning meditation. It’s a great way to start your day.
I think the most powerful three word affirmations are the I AM affirmations, in the present tense and create a positive energy and emotion for you.
Before looking over this list, have a quick think about what your core values are right now. If you want to make positive changes in your life, it’s good to know what your values and big goals are.
You can try a little morning journaling to help you find your values and goals.

What are affirmations?
Affirmations are short positive statements you say frequently to either increase positive thoughts or challenge negative thoughts.
I like to think of affirmations like a biceps curl for your neural pathways. The more you do, the stronger they become.
So, in the essence of keeping this short, let’s move onto the 99 Three Word Affirmations to start your day.

Now you have your positive affirmation list. How are you going to use them? Here are my top 5 tips for getting the most from your affirmations.
One: Say them frequently. The perfect time is first thing in the morning, preferably after a short meditation or at least before looking at your phone and starting your day. Then multiple times throughout the day.
Two: Hold them in the present moment. Speak these positive words as if it has already happened, right in this moment. Positive thinking starts right now, not somewhere in the future.
Three: Bombard your subconscious mind with the positive message. Train your mind to look for the positive, this makes a significant difference. Use sticky notes around your house with your favorite affirmations on. Set a phone reminder to show you the affirmation every 2 hours. Write them in lipstick on your bathroom mirror even if you fancy it. Small tasks with a big value.
Four: Visualize the outcome. This can be hard to do. It requires you to step out of your comfort zone, but seeing and feeling the way you want to feel before you actually achieve it is a stepping stone to positive change. Tap down into positive emotions and care about the way you feel. Your extra efforts will be worth it.
Five: Motion changes emotion. Make your affirmation practice fun. Movement is a great way to lighten the way you feel and when you feel happier, your mind is happier. Dance, skip, or walk around whilst you say your affirmations. They should not be hard work, affirmations should be fun.
The great things about affirmations are they are free, simple, and easy to turn into a new habit.
You now have a great tool to challenge negative self-talk. What’s not to love?
Do you have a favorite on this list of positive affirmations? Do affirmations help you make the right choices in your day? They definitely help me when I am feeling conflicted or hearing too much negative internal chatter.
Enjoy using these powerful positive affirmations to start your day the right way.
Here with you.
