As most of you might know, I left my corporate career to pursue my lifelong spiritual path and be of service to others through the practices of breath, movement and mindfulness. After experiencing burnout and a spinal cord injury, many shifts in life moved me to this path and work.     A trip with friends to Inis Boffin. This was a real 24hours to do so much for my Wellbeing. Wellbeing is individual and finding what works for you is vital . For me this 24 hours included: ๐ŸŒฟAn unplanned breathwork session! with my group on a very bumpy boat trip.๐ŸŒฟBeing among people who lift your heart. The support and kindness of these ladies is something I'm truly grateful for. ๐ŸŒฟ Laughter, we laughed and we laughed. This did not erase personal challenges we can all go through, but allowed us the opportunity to also experience fun and laughter. ๐ŸŒฟSinging, while I'm not a singer we joined in ! Singing connected to your breathing is a powerful trigger to your nervous system, creating a vibration and contributing to calm. ๐ŸŒฟTime alone, I also took time to walk and explore, down roads, on the beach, really taking in everything around me .๐ŸŒฟSea Dips๐Ÿ˜Š I don't swim but that did not prevent me getting into the sea, experiencing the cold, calming my breath and focusing my mind, enjoying the complete serenity.๐ŸŒฟA slower pace...island life certainly appeared slower this is combination with little WiFi added to everyone (without exception) walking along with there heads up (not looking at phones! ) smiling and a friendly chat ๐ŸŒฟMeditation this was in many forms, I did take time with my earbuds for short guided meditation, but the real meditation was the informal. The meditation was the entire experience. Meditation is keeping focus/paying attention. My meditation was experiencing and enjoying every moment, really savouring.๐ŸŒฟGratitude, this for everything mentioned above and so many little moments along the way, good coffee, hugs, chats with strangers, beautiful wild flowers, prosecco, good food, kind staff, cozy bed...reminding ourselves of all the little things and experiencing gratitude. ๐ŸŒฟYour Wellbeing is unique and can change on a daily basis.
