How to Cook Compliments Spiral Honey Ham (2024)

Our spiral sliced, bone-in ham makes a classic centrepiece for your holiday meal. Better still, it’s fully cooked and comes with a glaze packet for that smoky-sweet flavour.

How to Prepare: Remove packaging. Place ham face down in a baking dish or roasting pan and cover tightly with lid or foil. Bake in pre-heated oven at 160°C (325°F) for about 15 minutes per pound (454g). To apply glaze, remove the ham from oven 10 minutes before the end of heating time, turn oven up to 220°C (425°F) and follow instructions on glaze packet. Since ovens vary in temperature, these are guidelines only.

Glazing: Empty contents of the glaze packet into a small saucepan. Add 22 mL (1 1/2 tbsp) warm water. Heat glaze mixture on high, stirring constantly, until glaze begins to boil. Remove immediately from heat. Brush glaze evenly over the surface of the warm ham. Bake glazed ham uncovered at 220°C (425°F) for 10 minutes.

Slicing: Cut around centre bone with knife to free as many slices as desired. Cut along natural seams of ham to remove sections of the slices already freed from centre bone.

Visit your local Safeway and pick one up in the meat department.
