How to Make 21 Day Fix Approved Pizza (1)We were never picky about our pizza — frozen, delivery, the little shops that make it while you wait.

When we started being a little more health-conscious about what we ate, though, we knew we needed to find a healthier option.

And I highly recommend to my clients who are starting to improve nutrition: Stick with what you love. Just make healthier versions.

Ingredients

  • Pick crust
    • 1 whole-wheat naan
    • 1 Flat Out
    • Cauliflower crust made at home or store-bought (my favorite is Caulipower brand from the grocer’s frozen section)
  • Pick your sauce
    • Up to 1/2 cup tomato sauce (no sugar added)
  • Choose any spices
    • Basil, cayenne oregano, pizza or even taco seasoning
  • Add your cheese
    • 1/4 cup shredded cheese per serving
  • Finish with your toppings of choice.
    • Artichokes
    • Banana pepper
    • Mushrooms
    • Onions
    • Peppers
    • Tomato
    • Turkey pepperoni

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
  2. If you’re using a Flat Out wrap, place it on a lightly greased pan and bake for 2 minutes to help firm it up.
  3. Top your crust with the sauce and any spices.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese, and add any toppings.
  5. Bake at 400* for 4 to 6 more minutes (if Flat Out crust) or 7 to 9 minutes (if other crust).

21 Day Fix container count:

  • 1 yellow for the crust
  • 1/4 to 1/2 purple for the sauce
  • 1 blue for the cheese
  • + any toppings
