HubScore — which, according to its about page, helps companies “find the right marketing partner” through “collecting client feedback and analyzing industry data” — published a report that found each state’s favorite snack.
These snacks, according to a press release accompanying the report, were found after HubScore experts looked into survey data revolving around the most popular foodstuffs of the snack ilk in the United States. Results were then broken out by area by the top five.
Pennsylvania’s favorite snack — and the one favored by the majority of states at 18 total — was found to be Rice Krispies Treats.
In second was Doritos followed by Cheetos in third, then Cheerios and Starburst in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Some states seemed to diverge from the run-of-the-mill top choices: Three states, including Hawaii, really seem to dig Chex Mix above all the rest while only two — New York and Connecticut — love Lays the most.
Nationwide, the second most popular snack was Doritos, then Cheetos, two staple snacks which are also excellent together, for the record.
Perhaps Pennsylvanians could considering washing down the Keystone State’s favorite snack with its favorite drink.
On second thought, maybe not.
