Are pets allowed at Bays Mountain Park? ›

Pets are allowed at Bays Mountain Park, however, there are some strict rules that must be followed. All pets must be kept under physical control and on a leash at all times.

Tobacco products, gum, and candy are not allowed on the Adventure Course or during activities (for safety reasons). Tobacco may be allowed in a separate area during breaks only.

Fishing is allowed from the dam to people 55 years or older (must have proof of age), and for people under 16 years old.

The Park features a picturesque 44 acre lake, hiking trails, a Nature Center with a state-of-the-art Planetarium Theater, and Animal Habitats featuring wolves, bobcats, raptors and reptiles.

Handguns in Tennessee State Parks

Therefore, no one may carry a handgun in a Tennessee State park unless they have a concealed handgun permit or enhanced handgun permit or meet another exception to Tennessee Code Annotated 39-17-1311(a).

Permanent BBQ pits are supplied in all picnic areas. Dogs and other pets are not permitted in most of San Mateo County Parks. However, there are select trails and areas that allow dogs.

Sidewalks provide easy access to the waterfall with a viewing deck near the falls for handicapped visitors who are not able to negotiate the steps to the water below the falls. Pets on leash are allowed. A $5.00 entrance fee per vehicle is required and the area is day use only.

Dogs are not allowed on Park Beach, even on lead. They are allowed off leash on South Park Beach, that is south of Coffs Creek inlet.

Are pets allowed? While we love furry friends, pets are not allowed at The Sweetgrass Inn, Boardwalk Inn, Residences at Sweetgrass, Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals, or anywhere on the resort grounds. A $400 minimum fee will be assessed, per pet, if in breach of resort policy. Other fees and fines may apply.
