Two Leap Day babies were born at UofL Health early on Thursday morning. So, when do they get to celebrate their birthday?

Leap Day only occurs once every four years, so those born on the 29th don’t always get the opportunity to celebrate the day of. Not to worry, they still get to celebrate another time, most commonly on Feb. 28 or March 1.

According to a news release, UofL Health welcomed two Leap Day babies on Thursday.

The first, a boy, Milan Sardina, was born at 1:52 a.m. weighing 8 pounds and 10 ounces.

He was followed by baby girl, Noemi Bibiano Rodriguez, born at 2:50 a.m. at 7 pounds and 3 ounces.
