Wordpress.com is an online blogging platform that is based on the free and open source Wordpress software.

WordPress imposes a strict limit on the amount of RAM (also known as memory) that a single PHP script may occupy on your web server. The critical error or the white screen of death will appear when this limit is reached. To increase the PHP limit, access your site through FTP and open the wp-config. php file.

You can get WordPress to show errors either by using a plugin like WP Debugging or by editing the wp-config. php file and setting the define( 'WP_DEBUG' ) statement to true. You can then also set the define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG' ) statement to true as well so that all errors are logged in the debug.
