St. Matthews - Services for James M. Frazier, 91, will be held at 4 p.m. today, September 12, 1999 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in St. Matthews with Rev. Fred Davis officiating. Burial will be in West End Cemetery, St. Matthews. Pallbearers will be John Felder, Dr. Pat Killen, Billy Allread Milton Taylor, Bill Frazier, Jimmy Butkett, Bob Price, and Michael Shuler. The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David Shuler, Dogwood Acres Trail, St. Matthews and Dukes Harley Funeral Home in Orangeburg. Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, St. Matthews, 202 E. Bridge St., St. Matthews 29135. Dukes Harley Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Frazier, of 404 East Bridge St., died Friday, September 10, 1999 at Calhoun Convalescent Center in St. Matthews. He was born in Lexington County, a son of the late Rev. Fred Lawson Frazier and Fannie Price Frazier. He was retired Co-Owner of Nelson-Frazier Hardware and Furniture Stores of St. Matthews and Eastover. He worked at the Naval Shipyard iin Charleston, during W. W. II. Mr. Frazier was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Nelson Frazier of the home; daughter, Mrs. David (Ann) Shuler of St. Matthews; grandchildren, Brook Shuler of the University of Virginia Law School, Charlottesville, Va., Anna Shuler of Charleston.
