BALLINGER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A large fire broke out in Ballinger over the weekend, and victims are starting their weeks by cleaning up the ashes.

The threat for severe weather has decreased for later this afternoon and evening. Storms are still expected to develop after 4pm out west near Snyder and Colorado City and push eastward through the Big Country. large hail up to egg size is still the main concern, followed by damaging winds up to 60 mph. The tornado risk is low but an isolated tornado is possible.
