This week and this year you will face many different experiences. Problems will arise, burdens will come. Decisions will need to be made, many of them life altering.
What do you do? If you are a serious follower of Jesus, you know you must pray, because only prayer brings God deeply into the middle of your circ*mstance. If you try to handle it alone, you will quickly discover that the arm of flesh will fail you.
What to Pray
We all want to pray effectively. No one desires to lift some flimsy, selfish prayer that accomplishes little, but the “effective prayer” that “can accomplish much” of which James 5:16 speaks.
Jesus, as always, gives us the answer. He models for us the perfect prayer to pray in any equation—the prayer that is always rewarded.
“Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name” (John 12:27-28 NASB).
Embrace God’s Purpose and Pray Accordingly
Jesus knew that He had been sent on purpose by His Father … that He lived on mission. The most effective prayer, the one that is always answered, is this: “Father, glorify Your name.”
“Answer my cry, O Lord, in a way that will accomplish Your will, for Your will is good, acceptable, and perfect. It is best for You, and therefore best for me and any others who may be affected by this prayer. Father, I want You to be magnified and seen in this circ*mstance.”
In the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6, this is encouraged in another way: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth [in the same way] as it is [being done right now] in heaven.”
God delights to answer this prayer, and the results are stunning. It is the prayer that never fails.

I read your message and I too am dealing with depression. God blessed me with a verse which is Exodus 14:14 . I the Lord will fight for you. You need only to be still. This verse means a lot to me because He is fighting for my health and other issues. Hope this encourages you. Amen.

Father of ALL mercy and comfort, I just want to lift up Your daughter, Briege, to You. As someone who experiences overwhelming fear and anxiety at times, I know how debilitating it can be. ???? It can be rational or irrational. It can be specific or general, severe or mild, short lived or long term, but… one thing is clear… it is REAL to those who experience it and something we ALL deal with at some point, in one form or another. Please guard my dear sister from the enemies lie that fear and anxiety is somehow a barometer of her faith or lack of faith in You. We don’t struggle with fear and anxiety because we don’t know or love You enough. We find ourselves at times in fear’s grip because, while “fearfully and wonderfully made,” we remain frail, broken and weak people which effects us in undesirable ways, physically, emotionally, spiritually, psychologically, neurologically etc. That said, we THANK YOU, DADDY that You “have not given us the spirit of bondage unto fear, but the SPIRIT of adoption whereby we now cry out, “ABBA, Father!” Rom8:15
Father, please bathe my sister with your peace, comfort, and assurance knowing that YOU are watching over her, despite how she may feel. You promise to watch over, help and protect those who call upon You from a pure heart. You tell us, “the righteous cry out and the Lord hears and delivers them out of ALL their fears (troubles)” We ask in faith, according to Your abundant mercy and grace that the intimidation and lies of the enemy would be broken. We pray for a complete BREAKTHROUGH in the realm of the Spirit from the bondage of fear. We praise you Father that faith in Jesus fractures fear as we are told in 1John4:18 “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.” We praise You in advance for who You are, and what You are going to do, knowing You cause ALL things to work together for good to those who love you and are called according to Your purpose. Will you please pray for my husband Jacob. He’s been struggling with sleep apnea for years now and we finally got him a CPAP but it hasn’t been helping but making him feel worse. He’s been very discouraged and depressed by the disappointment and it’s been really hard to see him like this. He needs healing and hope.

Pray to God to take away any troubles you’re going through. Me personally I asked God to keep me from feeling these emotions I can’t control, he took away my feelings of depression and gave me peace, it took me so long to try and deal with depression on my own, nothing worked..until I put my faith in God…i promise it will get easier if you have faith, and your life will come together in ways you can never imagine

I am so sorry to hear this. You may need to talk to your doctor for help. God can use a doctor to help you. I used to suffer with bad anxiety and depression. I tried everything and finally talked to a psychologist and she helped me.
I prayed and read the Bible often but still struggled. I tried herbs but it wasn’t enough. There is hope for you. Listen to your doctor. God can heal you this wayReply

He answers prayers most often when we don’t expect them. Quiet all around you and be still. If you don’t have a Bible, please go to church and ask for one. I’m sure it will be gladly given. Find your peace in scriptures. You are loved and tho at times it feels as tho you are.. you are never alone. I am keeping you in my prayers!

Prayers for Rhonda who needs a miracle? She suddenly got ill and is confined to rehab lost so much weight and for my granddaughter who has been on drugs for years and is now free, she needs a job but her past is on record and no one will hire. For my daughter’s business that was doing good but now is failing and she is desperate each month to pay her bills. Thank you for praying

What I was really hope for is my daughter to get a house and to find love again and to be happy from taking alcohol, take her depression anxiety away from me God, please bring my children and me close to one another and for My family to come closer to you, Jesus, please rub your precious blood around them, help them please take it anger and bitter to one another bring them to like families are supposed to be close. Lord my prayer is for my mother, she is in the ICU in Montana with my other sister, and I pray your put your healing hands, and on the doctors as well attending my mother. I pray that my mother’s blood sugars stabilize, as my mother is a diabetic, and the doctors at home meaning Texas basically really don’t know much as I can see, anyways father God cover my mother with your blood from head to toe Lord, and stabilize her sugars, and that when she eats she doesn’t throw up. Please father God she is the only parent that is standing in our life. I know you will be there Lord. I praise you Lord. Amen Thank you Jesus, father God. I also summons the angels Archangel Michael to be my my mother bed side in the hospital, and all the Archangels that can help now in the name of Jesus.

My daughter, Ashley, has a large tumor in her uterus & 2 more growing. She refrains from telling us because she knows we will break down in tears. She has 2 young children. Dr says injections, 1 each mth for 6 mths. However, insurance has denied payment, $2,000 each. So that the tumors has shrink. My daughter has not done injections because she cannot afford the cost. Please pray to shrink the tumors and that the tumors are NOT cancerous. In the name of Jesus

I just read this prayer and I say, Father glorify your name. I pray and ask you dear Lord God to heal my back issues that has caused serious pain in my legs and right foot. Restore me oh God. I pray that my son gets this new job. It’s a lower paid position, but for his health and well being. Money is not the answer.
